Weather

The BBC website is currently suggesting that there will be pleasant, clear weather on Saturday 11 Nov 2023, with some sunshine. The roof terrace will be available as long as the rain stays away.

 Venue

The BCLXII team and the venue hire team at the school have been busy over the past week. The Audio Visual provision is good, the food is marvellous, and we are all looking forward to the day. Lunch is provided for free. There is tea, coffee, water and squash available all day. Please bring a refillable bottle so that you can top up from the water fountains and minimise the use of disposable cups.

Lego

Informal arrangements are in place to have some Lego Mindstorms and some regular Lego available for us to play with. Suitable for everyone from ages 4 to 94.

Schedule

Please try to arrive before the official start at 10.00am. The registration desk on Level 3 operates by first name (as per your ticket) with two channels A-K and L-Z. The entrance to the school is on Level 1 and there are two lifts (or stairs) to take you to Level 3.

Click here for the full schedule for the day.

The Grid opens at 10.20am immediately after the Welcome talk.

And fast on the heels of their BBC appearance, we have two special guests helping us with The Mysterious Mystery Game at 5.20pm.

At around 6.00pm, the local pub is aware that some of us may be heading there to relax. The Corner Pin is a BeaverTown pub with a range of quality beers and food.

Travel

London Overground services passing through White Hart Lane will be running as normal, although there are some other line closures on the day. You will be able to get to Liverpool Street Station on the Central Line or Elizabeth Line. Alternatively, take the Northern Line to Moorgate which is about 500 metres from Liverpool Street. There is a link tunnel, but you may find the surface route quicker and easier, walk via Finsbury Circus Gardens.

Waiting List

Ticket sales have closed. You do not need to bring a paper ticket to the venue, but you do need to be on the list of ticket holders. Arrivals without tickets cannot be admitted. We’ve had some returns, if you know somebody who wants a ticket please get in touch via email barcamplondon@electronical.ly

Restrictions

No Covid19 symptoms please. And there will be no smoking, no vaping and no alcohol. This applies throughout the venue, including the roof terrace.
